This strain of Hefeweizen Yeast results in a delicious beer.
Used in the production of traditional German Wheat beers. White Labs - Hefeweizen will give you the banana and clove nose, with the desired cloudy look, traditionally associated with German Wheat beers. You can achieve less banana and spice flavors by fermenting this yeast at 62F for 10-14 days. This yeast strain is a vigorous fermenter. You will need to use a blow off tube as your airlock.
