This Stainless 1/2 in. FPT x 1/2 in. Barb has a 1/2" FPT on one side, with a 1/2" barb on the other. It provides a direct connection from your tubing to your pump in the instance that you are not using a QD Set or a ball valve. It can also be used anywhere in your brewing setup where you want to connect tubing directly to a 1/2" MPT.
