With a Maximizer tube you can get the maximum amount of wort from the bottom of your kettle because it sits below the height of the valve port. This 2 1/2"L x 1/2"ID size is just right for use in boil kettles because it doesn't interfere with the immersion chiller, and in HLTs with no false bottom. The 1/2" MPT threads on this Maximizer will thread into the FPT threaded ports on the inside of any of our BrewBuilt or Heavy Duty kettles.
