This is the exact same pump as the standard March 809 magnetric drive pump but with a stainless steel housing and 3/4" mpt inlet on the center.  It still has the 1/2" mpt outlet on the side.  Similar to the standard magnetic drive pumps the magnetic drive acts as a clutch allowing the user to put back pressure on the pump to slow down the flow.  This is a robust pump with a 1/25 hp, continuous-duty 1.4 amp motor which can be run non-stop for extended periods.  This unit has a max flow of 7.2 gallons per minute and a max head of 12 feet.
