A great yeast to use for Belgian-style beers!
Wyeast (French Saison)- 3711 is used to make Saison or farmhouse style ales as well as other Belgian style beers. It results in beers that are highly aromatic (estery), peppery/spicy, and citrusy. A great yeast to use if you want to highlight spices or aroma hops. It is extremely attenuative but leaves an unexpected silky and rich mouthfeel. Can be used for high-gravity beers or to finish a stuck fermentation.
Temperature Range: 65-77F 18-25C
Alcohol Tolerance: ABV 12%
