WineStix™ Tank Staves are sized so that one Stave is the dosage for 30 or 60 gallons of wine or beer. Due to careful aging and seasoning of the wood, either French or American, and precise toasting delivers very specific flavors and aromas according to the 4 toast levels we use. Please allow 2-3 months minimum extraction time to balance the extractions of short and long grain. Removal of the wood early only allows certain extractions of flavors and primarily from the short grain in the WineStix® milling.
