Super heavy duty, stainless steel, commercial plate filter for wineries or breweries. Designed to be used with 40cm x 40cm filter pads. This unit is well built as evidenced by the 615 pound weight.  A lot of the beef is in the stainless block with brass bushing that applies pressure to the plate assembly. The large brass bushing makes cranking down easy and eliminates the chance of burring the threads.  Features tri-clamp connections, dual entry and exit, pressure gauges on in and out, sight glass included, and locking casters included. Includes the black Noryl plates that can handle steam sterilization. Double plate for doing two levels of filtration in a single pass is offered as an option.
