Save water during the cooling process with our water efficient chiller with direct connect fittings for garden hoses. During the manufacturing process we build in an inner water mixer that causes the cooling water to turbulate as it travels through the coil. This reduces the laminar flow found in a standard chillers where only the outer water is cooled as it moves through the coil. The result is a 40% reduction in water, and faster cooling, when compared with our standard chillers.  But that is when we compare it to OUR standard chillers with the coils at the top. When you compare to other chillers on the market the results are even better.

ALL of our chillers feature coils that raised up to where the heat is. Since heat rises and other wort chillers on the market have all the coils on the bottom they actually never cool unless you stir your wort. The problem with stirring is that you mix up all your trub/sediment and you risk airborne contamination... neither of which is good. Our chillers cool fast and allow you to keep your lid on your kettle during the critical cooling period. Made in our metal shop we lift the coils to where the heat is. With normal chillers the coils rest on the bottom and the hot wort on top takes a very long time to cool. 25' of 3/8'' copper tubing with brass connection fittings for garden hose. Connecting garden hoses, as opposed to vinyl tubing, is very sturdy and the cooling water can be rand back out to water your yard.
