450-565 °L - Bairds Malt - Roasted Barley Malt is an unmalted roasted grain. This malt is the backbone of a Stout. It imparts roasted flavors reminiscent of roasted coffee and chocolate. Imparts a nice deep color. Also a good grain to make red beers with, use 2-3 oz per 5 gallons for a nice red color.
