(General AA range 4-6%) Willamette is a very popular aroma hop for ales and lagers. Aroma is spicy-woody. Flavor is mild, pleasant, slightly-spicy, found between the flavor of British hops and U.S. Northwestern hops. Great for use in American Ales when you don't want the Citrus notes of Cascade. All works well when blending different hops together.
