This lightly colored ale is brewed with a blend of light and pilsner malt extracts with some flaked corn thrown in to soften things up. Cream Ale is top-fermented with ale yeast but ideally cold-conditioned like a lager for several weeks to reduce esters and result in a cleaner flavor.
