Filtered water provides you with the best start for your homemade brew.

This 10" Carbon Block Water Filter is designed to work with our filter housing or any standard 10" filter housing. It removes chlorine and organic flavor from your tap water, giving you a clean slate to start your brew with. It also filters out sediment to 10 micron. Open the housing after use and store the filter dry to eliminate algae from growing inside the housing. Good for 750 gallons.

After talking to different manufacturers it is our understanding that chloramines can be removed by carbon filtration if the water has a long contact time with the carbon. In order to do this, it is recommended to use at a fill rate of less than 1 gallon per minute.

NOTE: This product should not be used in hot water applications. Cold water only!
