Shirron Wort Plate Chiller
Cool your wort in as little as 10 minutes with this professional style plate wort chiller. 11 stainless steel plates are soldered together allowing hot wort to flow on one side while cold water circulates on the other. The result is a super efficient chiller that will save you time and water. Cleaning is more involved with this unit because your cooling wort will repeatedly come in contact with the small channels within the chiller. To clean, back flush the wort side with water after each use, then soak and flush with a cleanser like PBW, flush again, sanitize and drain until the next use. The plate chiller can be sanitized with any non-bleach agent and may even be boiled before use.
