Columbus Hop Plugs
The Columbus hop is a relatively new variety that is becoming increasingly popular. (Also known as Tomahawk), it is a bittering hop bred and selected from the Hopunion breeding program. Originally bred for its alpha value, it has also become popular for its oil profile. Great for dry hopping.
Grown and plugged right here in the United States, these hop plugs are the freshest available. Our hops are kept frozen at 32 degrees F before being plugged and once they are plugged, they are vacuum sealed in oxygen / light barrier bags and refrozen. Our bags are labeled with the crop year, plugging date, and harvest alpha.
