Avon Waters of Indiana German Pilsner beginner kits
Oh my gosh, I have made wine for years but never tried beer and started with this kit. I never would have thought a kit beer would be so good. I like Hienekein and they recommended this as a close look alike. The aroma hops made it smell great (better than Hienekein) and the bittering hops made it pretty close too. I'll never drink watery production beer again as long as I can make beer this good.

This was my first brew ever, and I was really surprised at how good the beer was. What I did not realize before brewing it, was that this is a VERY hoppy beer. If you do not like hops, do not brew this beer. The beer is smooth, has a medium body, and is full of flavor. The after taste remains for quite a while, as the hops linger on your tongue.

I brewed this kit with White Lab's Kolsch yeast. Ferments very clean and just delicious. They have really outdone themselves with this kit. May i say 3ounces of hops! It was yummie!
